Interior waterproofing
Interior waterproofing involves installing a system inside your basement to prevent water from entering. This can include sump pumps, dehumidifiers, and interior drainage systems.
Sump pumps are devices that pump water out of your basement. Aquadry installs a variety of sump pumps, including battery-backup sump pumps and sump pumps with alarms. Sump pumps are a critical component of any interior waterproofing system, as they help to remove excess water from your basement before it can cause damage.
Dehumidifiers remove moisture from the air, which can help to prevent mold and mildew growth in your basement. Aquadry installs a variety of dehumidifiers, including commercial-grade dehumidifiers and dehumidifiers with built-in humidistats. Dehumidifiers are especially important in humid climates, as they can help to keep your basement dry and comfortable.
Interior drainage systems channel water away from your basement foundation and towards a sump pump. Aquadry installs a variety of interior drainage systems, including French drains and perimeter drains. Interior drainage systems are a good option for homes with basements that are prone to flooding, as they can help to divert water away from the foundation and into the sump pump.
Exterior waterproofing
Exterior waterproofing involves waterproofing the outside of your basement foundation to prevent water from seeping in. This can include excavating around the foundation to install a drainage system, repairing cracks in the foundation, and applying a waterproofing sealant.
Excavating around the foundation to install a drainage system is a good option for homes with basements that are located in areas with high water tables. The drainage system will help to divert water away from the foundation and prevent it from seeping into the basement.
Repairing cracks in the foundation is important to prevent water from leaking into your basement and to maintain the structural integrity of your home. Aquadry uses a variety of methods to repair cracks in foundations, depending on the severity of the crack.
Applying a waterproofing sealant to the foundation can help to prevent water from seeping into the basement. Aquadry uses a variety of waterproofing sealants, depending on the type of foundation that your home has.
